What are the responsibilities of the Contract Holder?

If asbestos is identified in an asbestos survey, the survey will give a recommendation on how to manage the asbestos containing material. The recommendation could be for it to be managed in-situ (if it is in good condition, and is not likely to be damaged or easily disturbed), for remedial work to be completed (i.e. material to be boxed in, encapsulated etc), or for it to be removed (by the appropriately trained person).
