Touchpoint – ‘park for’

Agents can park calls for contacts and when the extensions for those contacts become available, the parked calls will be delivered to them.

To park the call you are currently handling for a contact:

  1. Search for the contact you wish to park the call for:
    1. To search for a contact click on the Touchpoint Call bar search icon. We’ll display the Search bar. We’ll also display any favourites.
    2. Enter the name, number, or department of the contact that you’re searching for. We’ll display all the matching results. Your matching results will be returned as contact cards where the matching search text is highlighted.
  2. Hover over their contact card, and select Park for.

We’ll park the call for them and free up your line to handle other calls.
