Eviction Warning Letter (EWL) is issued to the tenant if a payment (as ordered by the court) is underpaid or missed and the tenant has not replaced the payment.
If the account is under possession order, the high level arrears plan is followed then an eviction warning letter (EWL) to be issued. If this leads to no response the recovery process is to be followed (apply for bailiff / eviction as below).
Applying for a Warrant is the next stage and can be done 7 days after the EWL has been sent.
There is a cost of £121 for this.
