If contact is successful and the contract holder denies that they have abandoned the property and the investigate outcome supports this, the case can be resolved. If the contract holder confirms that they no longer want the occupation contract, they should be advised of the end of occupation process and reminded that they remain liable for the contract conditions and the rent until the occupation contract is terminated.
