If a customer reports no hot water, it could be due to low boiler pressure. If the boiler display shows a flashing pressure between 0.1 and 0.4 bars, that means the pressure is too low. Follow these steps to assist them:
- Ensure no taps are running and switch off your central heating.
- Underneath the boiler, you’ll find two grey taps.
- Open the left tap fully. This lets cold water enter the system.
- Slowly open the right tap, you’ll hear the boiler refill with water
- Watch the pressure gauge. As the water enters, the pressure reading will increase.
- Stop at 1.0 bar, close both taps.
- Restart your boiler, you can now turn on the heating and hot water again
