To request major adaptations, contract holders need to contact Call Torfaen on 01495 762200. They may give advice, prescribe equipment or refer them for extra minor adaptations at this stage. If the contract holder needs an assessment for other needs, they will be put on a waiting list to be assessed by an occupational therapist. The timescale for this will depend on how urgent their need is.
If they have already made a referral and feel their case needs to be seen more quickly because their situation has changed since the original referral, they should call the Disabled People’s Service at Torfaen Council on 01495 762200.
