End Of Tenancy Process

The following steps need to be completed before assigning to New Homes:

  • Complete EOT questions in Yoda, add activity and assign to new homes confirming the below.
  • Book inspection into Naomi Pang’s calendar and give AM or PM call only
  • 1 month to give keys in, can be handed in any day but must be in by 12 or will be charged for that day
  • Inform of current balance and clearance needed by the time keys come in – if unable to clear – payment plan is needed
  • Ask for forwarding address and update Yoda, this can be found under ‘current mailing address’  (top of tenancy page or 3 dots) click redundancy reason to change address, add new one and save.

The process for ending a tenancy:

1. Tenant Calls into Hub to Give Notice – EOT booked into Naomi’s calendar and informed of current balance and take forwarding address

    • Activity sent to new homes.
    • NHC Add to void spreadsheet.
    • NHC notifies.
  1. Within 24 Hours
    • NHC attempts contact, and withdrawal notice posted.
  2. Withdrawal Notice Received
    • Call made to tenant.
    • Acknowledgement letter sent
    • Forwarding address taken (referral to TCBC homeless if no address given).
    • Forwarding address updated in YODA.
    • EOT reason recorded.
    • Key return date discussed.
    • Arrears discussed and plan to clear by key return date discussed.
    • YODA updated.
  3. EOT Inspection Completed
  4. Contact Made to Discuss EOT
    • Work required.
    • Support available.
    • Recharges discussed.
  5. Keys Returned
    • Recharge raised.
    • YODA updated.
    • Void spreadsheet updated.
