If items are left by a contract holder who has just vacated or is about to vacate (often in the bin store), please contact the relevant CHO.
Ideally the individual can be contacted to return to remove their waste and deal with it responsibly. Also, any waste or mess associated with the clearance of the void is the responsibility of the Void Team.
It is not fly tipping when someone has not emptied their shed or when they don’t properly dispose of unwanted items when vacating.
Where we have not checked or been unable to deal with out going contract holders, sometimes, their shed or other store is not properly cleared. If this is the case the New Homes Team will need to make arrangements to clear as part of the void process (normally it will be checked and dealt with during the void process).
