Blocks – external

Will do (routine):

  • Basic inspection of the block and outside spaces. This is not an expert fire safety or building control inspection.
  • Fly tipping (not removal of personal possessions)
  • Check bin areas
  • Grass cutting – defensible areas

Can do:

  • Control litter and leaves (Winter) using blowers BC staff to assess.
  • Weed control and grounds maintenance – ad hoc only
  • Sanitise bin area – request only

May do and qualifications / notes:

  • 2023/24 – intentions to explore resourcing planned maintenance of drying areas (hard surface). NB Quality of existing surface does not allow for simple routine maintenance.
  • Drying lines are replaced by Property Maintenance / DLO.
  • Fences and gates outside (around blocks) would be repaired by Property Maintenance / DLO.
  • New compliance/cleaning sheets starting January 23 to incorporate more outside visible inspections.
