Torfaen Council has a Financial Inclusion service, which is free to residents who have rent or mortgage arrears that put their contract at risk. The team work closely with the Council’s Benefits Department, local Housing Associations, the Department for Work and Pensions, Social Services and other Support / Advice Agencies, to support residents to address their financial difficulties and prevent them from losing their home.
