If a contract holder has found someone to exchange homes with (this must be another social housing contract holder), they need to complete and return the mutual exchange form here.
Once we’ve received the application the community housing officer will assess if the move can be approved.
The team has no more than 14 days to apply for further information from the contract holders. Once we have this information, we have 1 month to complete property checks and either approve or refuse the application.
Contract holders will receive acknowledgement of their application and information about next steps. There is no need for them to contact us as we’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
