When dealing with an account in arrears use the following:
‘You have outstanding balance of £xx , can you make a payment today to clear this amount in full?’
‘You have not made a payment for x weeks so have a balance of £xx outstanding, you need to make a payment today to bring the account up to date.’
‘If you are unable to make this payment today we will need to set and agreement to pay with you, how much extra a week on top of your rent can you afford?’ This must be at least be atleast the guidance below:

This is our minimum payment guide for collecting arrears. Expectation is that Contract holders will set up the below amounts to reduce their current balance.
These figures have been worked out to ensure debt is cleared within 6 years which is standard practice for length of court orders.
